For the 13th consecutive year, Shell Energy Australia has been ranked number one for customer satisfaction in the Utility Market Intelligence (UMI) survey.
The UMI survey is undertaken every year in Australia by independent research company NTF Group, and surveys large electricity customers of major electricity retailers.
The latest results released by UMI show that 90% of Shell Energy’s customers are either very satisfied or satisfied, well ahead of its competitors.
Shell Energy Australia Chief Executive Officer Tony Keeling said: “Our industry-leading customer satisfaction continues to be underpinned by Shell Energy’s speed of response, understanding of customers’ energy requirements, and ability to get the basics right – from accurate billing and consumption information through to prompt responses from a dedicated account management team.
“We’re always looking to improve and the latest survey findings include valuable insights that will help us further evolve our offerings, building on our capability in electricity and gas,” he said.
“Our integrated business from wholesale trading to generation and electricity and gas retailing means Shell Energy is uniquely positioned to provide solutions to help customers make more of their energy and reduce their costs.”
