Shell-led consortium joins Charge On Innovation Challenge

A Shell-led consortium is thrilled to be one of the finalists selected to partner with BHP, Rio Tinto and Vale as part of the Charge On Innovation Challenge.

The challenge seeks to accelerate the commercialisation of solutions for charging long-haul electric trucks, while demonstrating the emerging market for these solutions in mining.

Charge On is a global quest to significantly decarbonise mining operations. For mobile equipment on a mine site, Shell is helping to enable a decarbonised, cost neutral end-to-end electrification system while minimising operational impact.
