Shell Energy Operations Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shell (“Shell”), today announced it will acquire Powershop Australia (“Powershop”), an online energy retailer serving more than 185,000 customers.

BOC today announced a new power purchase agreement (PPA) with energy from waste facility Avertas Energy and Shell Energy that will reduce its greenhouse gas emissions nationally by 16 percent.

Shell Australia today announced it will build and operate its first industrial-scale solar electricity farm near Wandoan in central Queensland, Australia. The solar farm will generate 120 megawatts of solar electricity from about 400,000 photovolatic (PV) panels and is expected to be completed in early 2021. The project will create up to 200 new jobs during construction.
